Overview
A standalone Tale of Tsushima in the Kamiagata region, told by the people living under the occupation rather than by anyone commanding it.
Fit for the Khan is a standalone Tale of Tsushima in Kamiagata — not attached to an ally questline, and told from inside the occupation rather than above it.
The side tales are where the game shows what the invasion costs people who were never going to be defended by eighty samurai on a beach. They are short, and collectively they are most of the game’s texture.
In the game’s own framing: A blacksmith’s apprentice reveals that the Mongols forced his master to forge armor for the Khan. The master hid the pieces across Kamiagata before he died.

Full walkthroughSpoilers
- 01Start at Jogaku Temple
Speak to the peasant to begin.
- 02Defeat General Bartu
Travel to the southernmost camp and complete its objectives to trigger the duel. Beating him yields an armor piece. Duels disable your tools, so this is stances, parries and dodges only. Let them commit first and take the recovery window rather than opening yourself.
- 03Rescue the hostages at Kawachi Whaling Village
Five hostages are scattered through the village; the last one you free hands over a piece.
- 04Defeat General Dogshin
The northernmost outpost. Finish the camp objectives to summon him, then take the piece.
- 05Rescue the hostages at Morimae Brewery
Four hostages across the eastern camp; the last gives the final piece.
- 06Return to Jogaku
Fast travel back and speak to the apprentice to have the set assembled.
Rewards
- Minor Legend IncreaseA smaller step toward the next Legend rank — the size a side tale, a liberated settlement or a cleared encounter gives.
- Mongol Commander’s ArmorA full armour set. Sets are builds rather than defence numbers — each one changes how you are meant to fight.
