Overview
A standalone Tale of Tsushima in the Izuhara region, told by the people living under the occupation rather than by anyone commanding it.
Unfinished Business is a standalone Tale of Tsushima in Izuhara — not attached to an ally questline, and told from inside the occupation rather than above it.
The side tales are where the game shows what the invasion costs people who were never going to be defended by eighty samurai on a beach. They are short, and collectively they are most of the game’s texture.
In the game’s own framing: Taka is out of Azamo Bay. Everyone else is still in it.

Full walkthroughSpoilers
- 01Enter Azamo Bay
Through the hole in the fence near where you start.
- 02Free three caged villagers
One cage is far to the left and easy to miss alongside the obvious groupings.
- 03Kill three Mongol leaders
The first with about six companions; the second in a backyard beside the cages; the third at a campfire with two others, in the open.
- 04Free three village elders
One upstairs near the first leader, one upstairs in a house behind the cages, one outdoors in front of a shrine.
- 05Open three village gates
One immediately as you enter, one south of the cages, one on the perimeter near the supply carts.
- 06Defeat Warlord Harunori
A duel at the village square with the flagpoles. Watch for the glow on his weapon before you commit. Duels disable your tools, so this is stances, parries and dodges only. Let them commit first and take the recovery window rather than opening yourself.
- 07Raise the village banners
At the opening of the square.
Rewards
- Minor Legend IncreaseA smaller step toward the next Legend rank — the size a side tale, a liberated settlement or a cleared encounter gives.
- Minor Defense CharmA silver charm. Minor charms are weaker than major ones and go in the minor slots — you start with two major slots and unlock up to four minor ones by honouring Inari Shrines, for six equipped at once.
- +4 LeatherUpgrade material. Silk, linen and leather are what armourers and swordsmiths charge to improve your gear.
