The chapter that puts Ankhsar Khatun’s methods in front of Jin directly — the shaman’s hallucinogen and what it does to a captive.

The Eagle’s Cry brings the expansion’s antagonist properly into view. Ankhsar Khatun does not fight the way Khotun Khan did; her instrument is a sacred hallucinogenic medicine used to torment and to convert.

Applied to Jin, it triggers vivid visions of past trauma — including his father’s death — which is how a side campaign becomes the most direct examination of his childhood in the game.

In the game’s own framing: Fort Sakai was built by Jin’s father during the invasion of Iki fifteen years ago. Jin goes there expecting shelter.

  1. 01
    Reach Fort Sakai

    A good opportunity for the new horseback charge. Clear the outer fort — about six Mongols. Whistle the horse rather than walking back to it, and remember a charge is itself an opening move against a loose group.

    Infiltrate the inner fort

    The standoff goes wrong and Jin is taken. Open with the standoff. Hold until the enemy actually commits rather than pressing early, and each won standoff kills outright — against unarmoured ronin it can gut a group before the fight starts.

    Follow Yuna out

    After the cutscenes she gets you loose. Collect your gear from the chest nearby.

    Help Yuna open the gate

    A large gate blocks the way.

    Reach the ravine

    The escape route out of the fort.

    The dream sequence

    Guide a younger Jin through the narrow cliff passages while his father talks about his part in the invasion fifteen years ago.

    Be rescued by Tenzo

    A raider pulls you out, which ends the chapter and opens the next.
