Tadayori's Armor

The headshot refund is the perk that matters. It turns Concentration from a resource you spend into one that pays for itself if you keep hitting heads.

Tadayori's set increases nocking and reloading speed by 15–30%, extends Concentration by 1–2 seconds, and restores 25–50% of the Concentration meter on a headshot. Chained together, an accurate player can clear a patrol almost entirely inside slowed time.

The nocking-speed bonus is what makes it the natural partner for the longbow from The Curse of Uchitsune — that bow's one real drawback is its slow draw, and this is the set that offsets it.

Armour is improved at an armourer, paid for in linen, silk and leather gathered from the world and from tale rewards. Every set states its effects as a range, and the upper figure is what the set does only once it is fully upgraded — an unupgraded set is materially weaker than its description suggests.
