Traveler's Attire

Overview
The exploration set. It does nothing in a fight and is arguably the most useful thing you can wear on Tsushima.
Traveler's Attire makes the Guiding Wind track artifacts, clears 10–30% additional fog of war as you travel, and vibrates the controller within 10–60m of an artifact. None of that helps you kill anyone; all of it helps you find the island's collectibles without consulting a map.
It is available immediately — any merchant will hand it over — which makes it the default set for the long stretches between missions.
Not a combat set at all — an exploration tool. Worn for collection sweeps and swapped out before anything starts.
Upgrading it
Armour is improved at an armourer, paid for in linen, silk and leather gathered from the world and from tale rewards. Every set states its effects as a range, and the upper figure is what the set does only once it is fully upgraded — an unupgraded set is materially weaker than its description suggests.
