Mongol Commander's Armor
A disguise that works. Out of combat it massively reduces Mongol detection, because you are dressed as one of them.
Overview
A disguise that works. Out of combat it massively reduces Mongol detection, because you are dressed as one of them.
The set grants a major health increase and major damage reduction, and — its defining perk — disguises the wearer out of combat, massively reducing Mongol detection. Walking into an occupied camp is a genuinely different experience in it.
It is earned from the side tale Fit for the Khan rather than the main story, which makes it one of the strongest arguments for doing the Tales of Tsushima.
The heaviest armour in the game, and it also disguises you — which makes walking into an occupied camp a viable opening.
Where you get it
- Fit For The KhanSide Tale — awards this
Upgrading it
Armour is improved at an armourer, paid for in linen, silk and leather gathered from the world and from tale rewards. Every set states its effects as a range, and the upper figure is what the set does only once it is fully upgraded — an unupgraded set is materially weaker than its description suggests.
