Sticky Bomb
An explosive that attaches to a target before it detonates — the answer to a single heavily armoured enemy rather than to a crowd.
Overview
An explosive that attaches to a target before it detonates — the answer to a single heavily armoured enemy rather than to a crowd.
Where the black powder bomb is thrown at a group and kills whatever is standing together, the sticky bomb is aimed at one specific problem: the brute or armoured officer that a sword takes too long to open up.
It adheres to what it hits, which removes the timing guesswork of a thrown explosive and makes it usable at closer range than you would risk a black powder bomb.
A Black Powder Bomb you do not have to aim, which matters when a Brute is already swinging. The standard answer to Khotun Khan.

Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
- Reliably kills or opens single heavy targets
- Adheres, so no detonation-timing guesswork
- Usable closer than an area explosive
- A Black Powder Bomb that needs no aiming, which is why it is the standard answer to bosses.
Weaknesses
- Loud — ends any stealth approach
- Scarce; not worth spending on ordinary troops
- Single-target, unlike the black powder bomb
- Sticks to the target, so a moving Brute carries it.
Best uses
- Removing an armoured brute before a fight starts
- Opening a duel-like encounter against a heavy officer
